A plant It is a living being that does not have a locomotive capacity. It is an organism that develops the photosynthesis (since it appeals to sunlight to obtain the energy that allows it to synthesize organic matter from inorganic substances) and that, for that reason, results autotroph (produces its organic matter from inorganic elements).

Vascular , meanwhile, it is a notion that in botany is used to refer to what is linked to glasses from plants: that is, to the ducts through which the latex or sap circulates.

The vascular plants , in this way, they are the ones that have leaves, stem and roots and that they have a vascular system formed by conductive vessels . There are two kinds of glasses: the xylem and the phloem .

In the case of xylem , is the conductive vessel that is responsible for carrying nutrients from the roots to the rest of the vegetable . Phloem, on the other hand, transfers synthesized nutrients from the leaves to other parts of the body.

The roots of vascular plants are responsible for absorbing nutrients from the surface, in addition to storing them and supporting the structure of the plant. The vessels circulate through sap , which is the liquid from which cells obtain nutrients.

It should be noted that in vascular plants it is possible to differentiate between two types. The spermatophytes produce seeds while the pteridophytes They reproduce through spores. The spermatophytes, in turn, are divided into angiosperms (monocotyledonous and dicot ) and gymnosperms .
